Available on the evenings of Saturday 11th and Tuesday 14th February

52.5 per person

Fresh breads with salted and unsalted butter, a pre-starter, appetiser, palate refresher sorbet, main course, dessert and freshly ground coffee or tea and petits fours to finish.

Amuse-bouche
Warm butternut soup, nitrogen foamed pea and thyme (v)
To Start
Pressed foie gras and port terrine, candied whole kumquat, sloe gin jelly or
Scottish smoked salmon and Brixham crab roulade, sweet and sour cucumber or
Toasted walnut, celery and brie ravioli, chilli and sun-dried tomato butter (v) or
Purple Goose hickory hot smoked duck breast, lambs leaf salad, oregano and lemon dressing
 
Palate refresher of pink Champagne and watermelon sorbet  
 
Main Courses
Served with potatoes of the day and seasonal vegetables.
Fresh Brixham fish of the day with chorizo and tarragon, pea and lavender foam or
Slow-cooked chicken on the bone in a wild mushroom and Dijon mustard sauce or
Home-made spinach, red chard and golden beetroot lasagne, Roquefort and dill sauce (v) or
From the Purple Goose chargrill 8oz sirloin steak, homemade onion rings seasoned with smoked salt served with home-made triple cooked chips, roasted vine tomatoes and au poivre sauce or
Purple Goose signature 4 hour cooked pork belly, light pork scratching, pork and thyme jus, apple and vanilla puree,
freeze dried apple powder
 
To Finish
Chocolate truffle, strawberry covered chocolate, sweet mint pesto (v) or  
Pomegranate panna-cotta, frozen raspberries soaked in vanilla vodka or  
The Purple Goose signature bread and butter pudding, lemon sherbet ice cream (v) or  
Love heart papaya parfait, candied orange short bread coated in marble chocolate (v) or

Please note that credit card details will be taken when booking. Unless at least 48 hours' notice of cancellation is given payment of £40 per person (plus any special packages that have been ordered) will be charged to your card.

The price of the Valentines' Dinner at 52.5 pp includes VAT but excludes gratuities or tips which are shared equally between our hard working staff.
